How do I add submenu? - 2005/06/02 20:10 Hi,
I must be missing something but I installed it and I do not see a way of adding submenu to it?
Thanks for help.

Re:How do I add submenu? - 2005/06/02 20:54 Hi Robert,

LxMenu is not for creating mambo menu structures, but it is for designing of already defined menus. If you didn't create any menus before I'll try to describe how you can get it to work.
At mambo backend you will need at least administrator rights. Maybe manager rights will work too. Please login to the backend as administrator and use the menu manager to create a new menu or use one of already existent menus. There should be at least the following menus: mainmenu, othermenu, topmenu and usermenu.
Please pick one of them. Edit one of the menu items and change the dropdown box "parent item" from top to some item you want to become parent item from the item you are currently editing.
I've uploaded a screenshot from a menu item in edit mode to show it to you.

After you save your changes the sub menu item should appear fully automagically in the LxMenu component.

Good luck,
Georg Lorenz
