Other menu name - 2005/10/19 15:40 I'm not sure if this is possible. Maybe the author wants to give me a clue how to do this.

I'm using a component called MAL, which stands for Mambo Access Levels. With that component you can hide certain categories/section/articles from you users unless they are allowed to see it.

At the moment I've set it up like this: mambo mainmenu is used in the mal_mainmenu. mambo mainmenu is used by LxMenu. Of course, only the mal_mainmenu is hiding the sections & categories.

Is there a way I can short-circuit the mal_mainmenu to LxMenu? Now mainmenu (through) LxMenu is showing evertything!

The MAL-component is not freeware, but it's classified as commercial software. You can get more information about this component on www.mambobrothers.com.

I'll go and check the code tonight. If I find the solution, I'll let you know.

My collegue has looked into the code and adjusted the code. As MAL is commercial software, I don't know if I can publish this code here.
