Re:flash vs lxmenu - 2008/01/07 03:05 Actually the problem is worse than I thought.

In Firefox, it is not usually the banners. Perhaps not ever. I think it is just a problem with Flash in Firefox, so we can ignore that for now and I'll try to find the place for the transparency switch there.

HOWEVER, As you can see in the attached screenshot, there is something really wrong with IE!

Not only do the .gif banners being displayed in the banner mod totally overthrow the submenu, but so do some images in the Template itself!

This is December's excellent free template from RocketTheme, I'm sure they didn't make a non-standardized template of any kind. What in the heck could that be?

Thanks in advance,
Luke

Re:flash vs lxmenu - 2008/01/07 11:13 Hi lukeparker,

I think there is a need of z-index on the parent element enclosing the menu module. So a small modification of the template is needed.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:flash vs lxmenu - 2008/01/07 11:55 The z-index, huh?

I hate to say it but I'm going to need some instructions here...

Could I send you the index.php file and you take a look or something?

Please let me know whatever you need. I've got no clue what a z-index is, other than it probably comes after the y-index.

Thanks for your help.
Luke

Yes, exactly (hehe).

I need to see your site online. Please send all relevant information to info@menu4joomla.com.
