LxMenu background not showing - 2007/09/27 19:38 First of all, thank you for such an awesome component/module for Joomla. Exactly what I was looking for!

My question is this - when I first installed LxMenu Free, I set up a generic menu and added it to my site. When I first previewed the site, the menu looked like I suspected it would (with the grey background which changed color on rollover). I then made a change to the horizontal position of the menu (in the configuration), and ALL coloring went away. In addition, no format changes will take effect (font colors, background colors, font size/weight, etc) I'm not sure how I screwed it up so badly!! I would appreciate any insight you could give me.

Joomla version: 1.0.12 (Sunfire)
LxMenu Free version: 1.15

I'm not sure about your issue.
But it mustn't happen at all when the only change you've made was the change of the module position.

after installing, the background, borders and colors worked fine with standard settings of installations.
since i have made 1 change to color, fxmenu shows joomla standard colors without backgroud and borders.
no parameter, in the component changes anything.
see it @ joomla13.redorion.com.

Re:LxMenu background not showing - 2007/11/06 19:10 What was the resolution to this problem? I have the same thing happening. Parameter changes under the component are not effecting the menu. I see that both sights mentioned before seem to have the color on highlight working.
