Re:flash vs lxmenu - 2007/05/11 22:39 Hi ulf,

yes, it works fine on firefox (win).
May be it is an issue from linux based firefox version. May be it doesn't correctly handle the flash objects.
I'm not sure yet about the reason, because all major browsers are working fine for me.

Did you try to clear the browsers' cache?

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:flash vs lxmenu - 2007/05/24 14:12 I also still have the problem.

It works fine when i don't use the "AC_ActiveX.js" script.
But i don't want the click in my swf.

Is there a way to fix this?

Best regards,

Jos

Re:flash vs lxmenu - 2007/05/24 14:25 Hi Jos,

first of all I need to see it in action.

It works fine when i don't use the "AC_ActiveX.js" script.
Hmmmm, lxmenu does not use such a script. Where does this script come from?

If you really need to solve this issue then please support me with an url.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:flash vs lxmenu - 2007/05/24 14:31 ActiveX is a script from abode that makes the swf file react normaly. No double click.

I'v fixed that problem: i typed the code wrong so transparancy in de swf din't work.

But i'v got a new problem; the menu is different in all browers.
I'v tryed:

Iexpore 7
Firefox mac
Iexplore 5 mac
Safari mac

Re:flash vs lxmenu - 2008/01/07 02:20 Hi all,

I'm having what appears to be this problem too, but I have no access to the banner mod code in order to tell it to be transparent.

I'm using Joomla 1.0.13 with it's Standard Banner mod... I don't think that flash is the issue here, but I've got lots of users saying that the sub-menu drop-downs are hidden behind the regular animated gif banners.

The reason I think this is similar is because I also see that the submenus get hidden behind the one flash movie on the site, in the exact same way.

I'll try the transparent fix for that (if I can figure it out) but the banner has got me stumped. So far I see it in both FF and IE.

Thanks,
Luke
