Menu name - 2006/01/16 22:39 Due to unknown reasons the menu name sticks to the user menu (four times!). I have no option to select main menu. I tried uninstalling and installing but have no clue whatsoever what I am doing wrong. Could you give me the solution?

Re:Menu name - 2006/01/17 08:07 Hello Nick,

please tell me the version you are using (Joomla/Mambo and LxMenu).

Best regards,

Re:Menu name - 2006/01/17 12:47 Hi Georg,

Sorry, I should have mentioned this. I am using Joomla 1.07 and LxMenu 1.12, downloaded yesterday. I already had the same problem with Joomla 1.05 (I upgraded yesterday too), but I don't expect this to be the problem.

Thank you for trying helping me. I really hope you can.

Best regards,

Nick

Re:Menu name - 2006/01/17 15:09 Hi Nick,

it is really strange because I've checked it by using different versions of joomla (1.0.2 to 1.0.7) and it works fine for me.
Please check the dropdown list "Menu direction" and let me know what values this field does contain.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:Menu name - 2006/01/17 20:12 Hi Georg,

I am using a Dutch version so I am not really sure which dropdown list you mean and whether my translation is correct. If you mean the most likely one on the LxMenu Configuration screen at the General tab it is translated to English "vertical".

I changed it to horizontal and the error on the website is gone and the menu appears horizontally. Changing it back to vertical the error remains gone and the menu appears vertically. One problem solved

But now I still have no option to change between the menu's. I want to use your menu for the main menu and I only got the possiblilty to choose the user menu

I am looking forward to our next step.

Kind regards,

Nick

Re:Menu name - 2006/01/17 20:30 Hi Georg,

I checked this further and found that in the Site Module I am unable to change the Menu Name. I can select another menu overthere, but after saving the LxMenu Component afterwards the Parameter in the Module resets.

Is that weird!?

Following another order is impossible due to the previous mentioned error.

Kind regards,

Nick
