Setting Transparency on Sub Menu - 2005/06/23 12:01 I don't know if this problem has been reported in the past, but when I set any sort of transparency value for my sub menus, when i click either apply or save my settings revert back to no and the transperncy percentage goes back to blank.

I dont' have this problem on the main menu items and I can save other settings in sub men (haven't tried all of them, just some. I just set this up tonight, so I may be asking this question pre-maturely). Anyways, if you have any thoughts or ideas, let me know. If I can't get it working transparency isn't the huggest need for me. However, I do like your product and beleive I will be purchasing the pro version from you within the next month (assuming I continue to like what I see).

I am the web master for my city and am currently working on changing http://www.losbanos.org over to a mambo site and want to keep the pop-up menus we have.

Thanks for the help.

Re:Setting Transparency on Sub Menu - 2005/06/23 12:24 Hi Aaron,

I'm not able to reproduce the bug with transparency on LxMenu Free 1.07 you are reporting about.
I've tried to disable the transparency, to change the transparency value on both sub and main menu items. On saving all the values were saved as expected.

Please reinstall LxMenu Free and try it again.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:Setting Transparency on Sub Menu - 2005/06/23 16:15 Georg, thank you for your time in releasing a new patch. I downloaded the patch and overwritted the file currently in the components directory of the admin section and it still was not saving my settings for that particular box. So I uninstall the component and added your new file to the zip archive and reinstalled the component. The installation was a success and I got a message saying that it didn't have to create the database because it was already there. However, it still was not saving the transparencies.

I don't know if it is just my particular case or if it is a bug in the component. Like I said, I am only a few days in to this mambo thing. Thanks,
-Aaron

Re:Setting Transparency on Sub Menu - 2005/06/23 17:27 Hi Aaron,

please download the component (com_lxmenu107a.zip) from the download area.
If you are able to check the db tables, then I would like to know if the table lxmenu_main contains the fields transparency_create and transparency.

If you are not able to check the existence of these fields, then try simply to uninstall the component and install it again by using the archive com_lxmenu107a.zip.

Let me know if it worked for you. Thanks.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz
