Pb with ie6 - 2005/06/26 16:53 Hello and congratulation for this great component/module
I'm sorry I have a little probleme with IE6. LxMenu works great with all browsers but I can't see the menu with some IE6 or I receive an alert, is there is something to avoid this (the alert) or to be abble to see the menu.

Thanks again for this great job

Re:Pb with ie6 - 2005/06/26 17:49 Hi,

I can't help without any information.
Please support me with information as much as you can think of.
Sorry, but "some IE browsers" is not enough to be able to get a clue about the reason!
I need the exact version of the browsers. I need the exact phrase from the alert message you are getting.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:Pb with ie6 - 2005/06/26 18:04 Oups, of course I'm sorry
my web site : http://pmcs-monitor.com
The mambo version 4.5.2.3 (patch)
with my IE6 version the last one (I don't really know which one as I work under Linux and rarely goes under win XP - only to have a look on IE) with this one I receive an alert about a breach in security if I active this option.
I tried with a friend who have a not updated version of IE6 and there ne alert and no menu. I hope this will be more useful.
I'll try to get the exact version and message next time I move on XP

Thanks again
best regards

Re:Pb with ie6 - 2005/06/26 19:08 Hi,

please check if you have enabled javascript on IE. When javascript is disabled then the menu will not be shown at all. And I think the alert message you are getting from IE6 contains some information about security aspects regarding javascript.

LxMenu Pro loads on browsers not supporting javascript the default menu based on the template.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:Pb with ie6 - 2005/06/26 19:13 Hi,

your sub menu items seem to use either a wrong font or you should adjust the sub items height.
But they work fine on IE6 with enabled javascript.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:Pb with ie6 - 2005/06/26 22:09 Thanks for your time, I'll check with my friend to see if the java is enabled on his machine, anf give a look to mine. You probably right, it should be some protection I enabled.

Thanks again for taking the time
Best regards
