Re:3 undefined offest - 2005/06/27 20:45 Hi,

it seems to me as you have a problem with your mysql server.
Please check first if there do exist the following db tables:
lxmenu, lxmenu_config, lxmenu_main, lxmenu_sub.
Please check if the db table lxmenu_sub does contain at least one record. If not, try to open LxMenu component and save it. Then check again if the table lxmenu_sub does contain a record now.
If it is still empty then there is something wrong on your mambo installation.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz

Re:3 undefined offest - 2005/06/28 20:50 Hi,

Thanks for your reply. All thes tables are present and there are records in mos_lxmenu_sub. Also, I've tested Lxmenu in a new installation, one in a french version and one in an english version. As mambo standard data sample is selected during installation, I think there is at least one menu item published. I have following errors both in french and english version :

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in d:program fileseasyphp1-8www4523frmodulesmod_lxmenu.php on line 52

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in d:program fileseasyphp1-8www4523frmodulesmod_lxmenu.php on line 57

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in d:program fileseasyphp1-8www4523frmodulesmod_lxmenu.php on line 62

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in d:program fileseasyphp1-8www4523frmodulesmod_lxmenu.php on line 66
Lxmenu Error: Either the menu does not have any menu items or all menu items are unpublished!

Many thanks in advance and sorry for my english writting.

Lalie

Re:3 undefined offest - 2005/06/28 21:14 Very pleased to inform you I have resolved my undefined offset. A simple tip that can help anyone : I've only clicked on Apply button before clicking on Save button and it run well.

Again, many thanks

Re:3 undefined offest - 2005/06/28 21:20 Hi,

did you make any changes in the settings from the module?
e.g. changed the value from the field "menu name"

You don't need to make any changes inside the module regarding the menu name to be reflected by the module.
All you have to do is to open the component and select there the mambo menu you want to be used by lxmenu.

Georg Lorenz

Re:3 undefined offest - 2005/06/28 21:30 Hi Lalie,

the Apply button works fine. It uses the same function as the save button too.
I believe you did following steps. You installed the component and the module. You opened the component and changed some values then you saved it. After them you went to the modules opened the module and changed there the field menu name, but you mustn't because in such case the settings from module and from component are no more the same. Both of them are not reflecting the same menu.

All settings have to be done in the component. The only settigs regarding the module itself are the publish/unpublish and change order have to be done in the module itself.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz
