IE7 submenu links don't work - 2008/06/12 13:54
Hello,
Thank you for letting such a powerful tool free to use...
I am a little experienced amateur in Joomla. And trying to get other amateurs and semi-professionals learn it to spread more "the way it should be" type business sites and etc.
While learning/experiencing template design I needed drop-down type menus. I've heard about lxmenu component/module. I firstly applied lxmenu to an amateur template that I made by changing a free template...
And somehow I noticed the submenus in IE7 don't work when it is configured horizontal. I mean they show up but the links don't work, the well-known finger sign won't appear. And when I change the configuration to vertical, the first two of submenus' links work but the 3rd (last) one doesn't work. In Mozilla Firefox everything seem to be normal, safe & sound.
At first I thought this occurs because of a reason: a bug. I searched a lot through the forum topics. But couldn't find an issue that is dealing with the problem exactly the same way. But afterwards, when I installed the original free-template that is not changed by me, I discovered it is working well, even in IE7.
What can it be the problem? Possibly this will give me some headache in the very near future, if I cannot learn the reason-why.
