Re:TwoQuestions - 2005/06/06 20:47 Hi josegarcia,

a LxMenu record is bound to a native mambo menu and represents its menu structure in the way you design it using the LxMenu component. The LxMenu module displays it on the desired position and is not dependent on any templates.

You should differ between mambo menu structure and LxMenu. LxMenu does neither create any menus nor items. It uses already existent menus created by menu manager from mambo.

If you want to know if it is possible to create different LxMenu records based on the same mambo menu but having different designs for different templates. Then the answer is no. It is not possible with LxMenu Free.

But I'll implement it in LxMenu Pro, if it is really useful. I don't know how many users would appreciate such feature.

Ok, I think I will implement it. But it will not possible to do it with LxMenu Free because it supports natively only one menu.

Best regards,
Georg Lorenz
