| I'm getting the following Error: "Lxmenu Error: The menu type in the module does not correspond to the menu name in the component!" |
 | First of all you should make sure you have installed the component and the module.
After you have set up the menu design in the component you mustn't change the menu name in the module itself, because it was already set in the component.
To solve this issue please open the component and save it. |
| What steps should be done for getting LxMenu working? |
 |
- Please install both packages (component and module) having the same version.
- After you installed them successfully open the component LxMenu.
- Select the menu name you want LxMenu to be mapped to (field: menu name; it lists all available menus created by menu manager from mambo). Make your changes you want the menu should look like (use the preview showing you all the changes you are making).
- Save your changes.
- Open the module manager (Modules/Site Modules) and check for the module named LxMenu (type mod_lxmenu). By default it is assigned to position left, it may be already published and does have the order number 99.
- Edit the module named LxMenu and make your changes on it. You may want to change the order number, the title, the module position.
Attention: you mustn't change the field "Menu name", because it reflects the setting you have made already in the component. If you need to change the menu to be reflected by LxMenu then use the component for this job.
- Save the module.
- That's all folks. LxMenu should be shown on the frontpage now.

| Am I able to use multiple menus with LxMenu Free? |
 | No, LxMenu Free does support a single menu only. If you really want/need multiple menus to be reflected by LxMenu then take a look at LxMenu Pro. |
| How do I add sub menu items? |
 | The only intension LxMenu Free is for is to design the look & feel of menu items. If you need some main menu items or sub menu items, means creating/extending the menu structure, then you have to use the menu manager from mambo itself. All menu items added to a menu on this way will appear fully automatically inside of LxMenu Free and will be shown by its module. |
